It might be thought that with the increasing use of computers in education, everyone would be aware of the possibility of learning in this way, although the CoP idea might be new. This is not so. We were surprised by one director of association, who said that it was absolutely impossible to learn with computers. She was adamant, and did want anything at all to do with the idea. Surprising maybe, but it happened!!
