Although it might seem easy to post a message online, for some users to do this is difficult. Some of our users commented that they felt happier talking than writing online because talk disappears and a message is there for all to read.If you make a mistake then it stays there. They also felt uncertain who they were talking to, although online presentations had been made to break the ice. For this reason some people with interesting ideas to share did not participate actively. We have found that some face to face activity, so that people can put a face to the name and hear each other talk, makes it easier for them to participate online later. It is a good idea to bear this in mind.
